Pinecone is the memory layer of our AI architecture, and this site is the reference build: every library page is embedded and upserted into a Pinecone index (automatically on content change, or via a CLI sync), then Semantic Kernel on our .NET 9 API retrieves the closest matches to ground each answer. That's retrieval-augmented generation with zero traditional database — the content files are the source of truth, Pinecone is the recall. The same pattern gives client sites and automations context-aware memory instead of canned responses.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is the technique of grounding an AI model's answers in your own content instead of its general training data. When a question comes in, the system first embeds it as a vector, searches a knowledge base for the closest-matching passages, and hands those passages to the model as context — so the answer is drawn from your docs, your brand voice, and your product knowledge, with sources it can cite. That's why RAG answers stay accurate and on-message where a bare model guesses or hallucinates. The chat on this page is a live example: every library post is embedded into a Pinecone index, and each reply is generated from the passages retrieved for your question. The same pattern powers support bots, internal knowledge assistants, and any product that needs an AI that actually knows your business.

Our toolchain is deliberately short: Nuxt 3 with Vite under the hood, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, GSAP + Lenis for motion, npm only — no yarn, no pnpm, no tool that exists to justify itself. The selection rule: a tool earns its place by measurably improving speed, maintainability, or the end experience, and gets cut when it stops. Fewer tools, better held.

Fast by design, not by audit: this site prerenders its marketing pages to static HTML, lazy-loads every other route and component, and animates with GSAP + Lenis on the compositor so smooth scroll never fights the frame budget. We hold the same bar for client work — measure load time and layout shift first, then design within the budget. Speed is a feature users feel before they can name it.
